I went to see Dr. Matijasic one week ago today. I could not turn my head very far to the left and for all practical purposes none to the right. It was so bad that I had to have my wife tell me if I was all clear to pull into or through an intersection when driving. I had headaches so bad and pain shooting down into my back from my neck. Life was not good. One week later it is a totally different story. I still have some pain but range of motion has changed tremendously for the better and I no longer have to wear a neck brace for long hours of the day. I can tell you this doctor knows what he is doing. So after one week I can tell you I am very pleased with my progress. I hope it continues and am confident that it will. What conditions can Harbour Town Chiropractic help with?

We treat a broad range of musculoskeletal and nervous-system conditions. Some of the most common include: back pain, neck pain, headaches or migraines, joint disorders (shoulder, hip, knee), sciatica, postural issues, and pain related to repetitive strain or injury. Chiropractic care is also effective for enhancing general wellness and mobility.

What happens during my first visit?

Your first visit begins with a detailed health history and discussion of your current symptoms, lifestyle and goals. Next, we’ll perform a physical examination, often including spinal/postural analysis, and may use imaging if needed. Then we’ll explain our findings and propose a personalized treatment plan—including what you can expect, number of visits, and cost.

Are chiropractic adjustments safe?

Yes. When performed by a licensed chiropractor such as ours, adjustments are considered a safe, non-invasive form of care. Our goal is to restore proper joint and spinal function, reduce nerve irritation, and support your body’s natural healing. Some patients experience mild soreness after an adjustment (similar to what you might feel after exercising), but this typically resolves quickly.

How many visits will I need?

Treatment length depends on your condition, age, how long you’ve had the symptoms, and your goals. Some people experience relief after a few visits, while others may benefit from ongoing care and maintenance. During your first visit we’ll give you an estimate of what to expect and continually review progress as we go.

Do you accept insurance, and how about payments?
